After a long break during the Songkran festival or Thai New Year, TGM is back with a special, easy-to-make recipe. This dish is perfect for the whole family and uses ingredients that are easy to find. Our star ingredient is TGM Cheese Cocktail Sausages, readily available at all supermarkets. We’re making a Korean favorite, “Tteokbokki” (Spicy Rice Cakes), which tastes just like what you would find at a Korean restaurant. Here’s what you need:

Easy and Delicious Korean Style: Cheesy Sausage Tteokbokki
Ingredients
1. Large Tteok (Korean rice cakes): 2 sticks
2. TGM Cheese Cocktail Sausages: 1-2 packs
3. Gochujang (Korean chili paste): 2 tablespoons
4. Japanese Green Onions: 1 stalk
5. Mozzarella Cheese: 1 block
6. Korean Chili Flakes: optional, if you prefer it spicier
7. Light Soy Sauce: 2 teaspoons
8. White Sesame Seeds: for sprinkling
Method
1. Boil Water: Fill a pan with clean water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
2. Cook the Tteok: Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to medium and add the prepared tteok. Stir gently to prevent sticking.
3. Add Gochujang: When the tteok starts to soften and become sticky, add the gochujang. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens.
4. Add the Sausages: Add the TGM Cheese Cocktail Sausages and continue to cook. Once the sauce is thick and the sausages are heated through, turn off the heat.
5. Finish and Garnish: Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, Korean chili flakes (if using), chopped Japanese green onions, and sesame seeds.
6. Serve: Transfer to a plate and serve hot. Enjoy your Korean-style cheesy sausage tteokbokki!
