This dish of stir-fried cabbage with fish sauce and smoked bacon is incredibly aromatic and makes every bite feel special. The recipe is simple yet delicious—one of those savory stir-fries that always grabs attention the moment it hits the pan. Ingredients
  1. Smoked bacon (pork)
  2. Dried shrimp
  3. Cabbage
  4. Shiitake mushrooms
  5. Carrot
  6. Garlic
  7. Cooking oil
  8. Fish sauce
  9. Granulated sugar
  10. Stock or broth
Direction
Cooking 1️. Prepare all ingredients. Heat cooking oil in a pan and stir-fry the garlic until fragrant. Add the smoked bacon and dried shrimp, stir-fry until aromatic, then remove and set aside.
2️. In the same pan, add the cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots. Stir-fry until slightly softened. Season with fish sauce and sugar, then add a splash of stock to moisten. Continue stir-frying until the vegetables are cooked through.
3️. Return the smoked bacon and dried shrimp mixture to the pan, toss everything together until well combined.
