rispy Cheese Roll with Ham and Shrimp Roe

Ingredients ? Filling:
  • 1 Toasted ham
  • 2 Sweet corn (cut into small pieces)
  • 3 Cream cheese
  • 4 Mayonnaise
  • 5 Sugar
  • 6 Salt
? Wrap and Coating:
  • 7 Spring roll sheets
  • 8 3 tablespoons of water
  • 9 Tempura flour (for frying)
  • 1 Cold water
  • 1 Baking powder
  • 1 Cooking oil (for frying)
  Instructions 1️⃣ Prepare the Filling
  • 1 Dice the toasted ham into small pieces and mix with cream cheese.
  • 1 Season with mayonnaise, salt, and sugar, then stir until smooth and creamy.
  • 1 Add sweet corn and shrimp roe, then mix well. Set aside.
2️⃣ Wrap the Rolls
  • 1 Lay a spring roll sheet on a flat surface.
  • 1 Spoon the filling onto the center of the sheet.
  • 1 Fold the edges inward and roll tightly into a log shape.
  • 1 Seal the edges with a bit of water to keep the roll intact while frying.
3️⃣ Fry to Perfection
  • 2 Mix the tempura flour with cold water and baking powder until smooth.
  • 2 Dip the rolls into the batter, making sure they are well coated.
  • 2 Fry in medium-hot oil until golden and crispy.
  • 2 Remove from the oil and place on a rack to drain excess oil.
